I have seen several threads on Aiptasia. The question is.... Is Aiptasia really bad for your tank or just ugly as
 ?

When i fist started reef keeping I had one my 12 gallon.It was pretty big I used like watching the brine it would eat flow down its tube.(cool)Then it started multiplying and they were popping up all over the tank.(not good).also they bend and sway and can sting other expensive corals(not good),but any anemone can do the same thing.My opinion is they are alright as long as they don't multiple to much.See the nightmare below
