anemone food? help!

My g/f just dropped a snail in her tank and her condy grabbed it and pulled it in. Is it good as gone or will it let it go. We tried getting it but will do more damage then if the anemone just eats it.

It is probably as good as gone.If the anemone doesn't eat it,I couldn't see how the snail could live being stung.

Yep, the anemone's just doing what it's supposed to do. Eat prey.

Actually, the anemone let the snail go a few hours later and everyone seems fine. Snail got lucky I guess.
