what kind of an anemone or w/e kind of invert these are they cam in on some live rock a couple months ago and they seem to be doing splendidly

Those are ball anemones

do they ever get bigger than a penny or a quarter?

and they are harmless and wont get much bigger

It's a Corynactis, also known as a Strawberry Anemone. They have the ability to sting other corals so just keep an eye on them.

FOWLR tank so thats not an issue they are kind of pretty and arent seeming to need all kinds of crazy lighting so its a nice addition to the rock

Other than them multiplying, you shouldn't have any issues with them. I saw a nano once that only had a bunch of majanos in it....it was actually kinda cool.

Yep, ball anemone. Harmless and short lived.
