Captive care – This fish is extremely difficult to keep in captivity. They have high caloric needs and most aquariums cannot support a population of invertebrates for them to survive off of. They also do not adapt to aquarium life well, remaining extremely skittish. Wrasses are known jumpers so the aquarium top should be covered.
