hey everyone hows it going, im new to this site and thought id take a minute to introduce myself and my tank, ive been in the hobby for little over a year now started out with a 29 and upgraded to my 58! heres some of the progress its went through nothing extravagent but i like it.

heres my 58 when first purchased, the sealing was dry rotted so i had to reseal it i also wanted it black :\ what a mission that was lol.
here it is day one stripping the old silicone off

he it is cleaned taped and ready for silicone!

here it is being tested, tested it for 1 week and it holds great!

the next step was to paint the tank
here it is all wrapped up and ready to go

heres the tank after the paint

next was the stand, hardest part of all! i didnt know how hard it would be to sand by hand but ya.........definitly harder than i thought. started with 60 grit then a 400 grit to make it smooth. i had to trim about 1/4 in off the back bottom 2x4 so i could fit my 20 gallon lon sump in.
here it is all done with sanding!.......2 months later.
