I'm ok with waiting

Obsessed? I'm not obsessed. I just look at my tank all the time, and think about it all the time, and dream about it all the time, and shop for it all the time. Ok...I'm obsessed.

I just finished reading Chapter 1, and on p.48 the author says that when you mix your saltwater you should let it age for a week or so. I've read online that it should be done the day before and that's how I've been doing it. Is there anyone that mixes their water a week out, and is there a reason the water should age for a week?
