I just got 3 zoa frags. Can I stick them all on the same rock about 2 or 3 inches from each other? Will they be ok touching eventually or will this tick them off?

Corals of the same species won't fight. So you can put as many zoas as you want together.

+1 Alex, I have about 5-6 different zoas on one rock, and they all touch each other.

The ocean was not filled and stocked in a day, neither can a successful reef tank.

I think there was one paly polyp in with my zoas bc the palys are growing like crazy and they are shadowing out the zoas...I guess I be cutting those zoas outta there and placing them someplace else. Gonna be tricky bc my maxi mini nem is starting to cover the zoas as well.

Not really true.
And zoas and palys are made up of many species.

But, they are peaceful corals and will look wonderful all meshed together! Most softies in general will not sting each other as a rule. (leathers and some other softies can release toxins into the water, but that's different from stinging and another topic altogether!)

Yes. Zoanthus Sp. means various species of Zoas.
Zoanthus is the genus.
So like a kangaroo is from Macropus rufus, meaning it's genus is macropus, and species is rufus.
