I have 6 36" T5 bulbs.
3 actinics and 3 10,000k
Should i switch some out for something different?
And what about brands? What's the best?

Thanks!

You are fine for coral growth. If you like the look then just wait til the bulbs needs replacing.

ATI and UV makes the best bulbs. There are some test done on RC and those two are above all others.

Actually, I need to make a correction.
Two of my bulbs are UV Actinic White which according to UV are around 12000k.
They look a little pinker than the 10000k bulb i have which looks a little more yellow.

I'm thinking of trying some of those ATI Blue Plus bulbs. They are supposed to be pretty blue but have a much higher PAR than actinics. Was thinking of maybe having a couple of those, my 2 12,000k's, 1 actinic and 1 ATI Pro Color for the reds.

I'm a little confuse on what you have and what you want. Can you list what you have again and what you want to change it to?My confusion is coming from the actinic white which isn't really a actinic bulb.

UV calls their 12000k bulb "actinic white". To me they have a slightly pink-ish white tone.
So right now i have two of those, one 10000k and 3 actinic blue.
I think i want a little more blue to bring out the coral colors.

I understand now.You have so many options to get more blue.

You are right about the ATI blue plus, they have more of a brilliant blue than actinic blue(460nm).Replacing two of the actinics with them and maybe adding a 14k bulb will help.
