after my move across town the beautiful coraline algae growing on the back of my tank has turned white. I dont know if its from the move or the fact that my lighting has been inadequate for a coupla days. my real question is two-fold:

-will it come back or is it dead?
-if it is dead, do i need to remove and what is the best way to remove it?

I assume the coraline dryed out during the move.I'd scrape it off.

It's dead. Even if it's exposed to air for only a little while, it will die. It's fine though, it will come back in no time.

During a water change I keep the coralline that's out of the water wet using a turkey baster.

I'm beginning to think Agent Smith was right! "You move to an area and you multiply, and multiply until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet. You are a plague, and we... are the cure."
