FAMILY - Pomacanthidae

SCIENTIFIC NAME - Holacanthus Tricolor

COMMON NAME - Rock beauty Angelfish

SIZE - 7.9" (20 CM)

range - Tropical Western Atlantic

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 100 US Gal. (379 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Sponge, vegetable matter, meaty fare, special angelfish fare containing marine sponges

AQUARIUM SUITABILITY - 3-4

REEF CAMPATIBILITY - Will nip sessile invertebrates, stony and soft corals, and clam mantles.

CAPTIVE CARE - Has difficulty switching to aquarium foods, will not fare well without its natural sponge diet, Juveniles fare better but, feed on the slime of other fish and will be persistent at nippin at them
