I usually run mine around 10 hours a day, then have 3 LED lunar lights going all night. Lights are on from 1pm to 11pm usually

I run my actinic for 12hrs and my 10k for 9 hrs.... I run all my lights on timers .....the actinic lights come on an hour before the 10K and stay on for two hours after the 10k kick off...... Of course I have the lunar lights on after the actinic as well.

Its all personal prefrance.... It depends on the type of lights, corals, fish and algae problems you have. A good base line is 8-12 hours.

im curious..does the extra 2 hrs for the actinics helps in their growth??..or is just to simulate dawn??
