only 6 hours with all on, but with ramp up and down 14 hrs total.

i use the lights about 12 total a day

I run mine around 14 hours per day. 12hrs. because thats about a day and 2hrs because it looks so cool at night.

Just 11Hrs seems to work fine on my reef tank.

I run whites for 9 and flourescents for 8 on a PC Flourescent. I get morning sunlight 'til around 9AM through windows. I believe that can be good for corals and bad for algae. It took me awhile to adjust my timers to this and keep algae down. Now, my corals are growing. This may be the best results for my tank only, though.

I run about 8 hours a day. been having diatom out breaks when I ran for 12 hours.

We run both tank's 12 hrs. With moon lighting at night.
