Cyano in Biocube!!

Any ideas why I'd have cyano in my biocube? All that is in there is corals. I check my Nitrite, Nitrate and Ammonia once a week and they've been zero since I started approximately two weeks ago.

In your case it may have something to do with flow. What do you have for flow?

Ya bro you need more for sure. Do you have some small PH's or a one decent one?

Re: Cyano in Biocube!!

since the biocube is small, it is easily contaminated by water pollutants, make sure you do very frequent water changes with real ocean water or Reverse osmosis water

Re: Cyano in Biocube!!

My theory is that it is caused by a low ORP.
