Looking for br for good price..Trying to buy 40 to 50lbs maybe someone has some laying around somewhere..Trying my luck before buying local..75 gallon almost ready for water just trying to tie up the loose ends..Also need shrink wrap,cords for 2 ballastes,led lights,fans 4 canopy..Thankx

I found a LFS that sells lace rock as base for about $1/ per lb. They sell a 50lb box for $53+tax. I was gonna do that, but decided I didn't want all that lace rock in my tank. 50 pounds is a LOT of lace rock.

You might try the LFS. I also found some other base rock for $2.25lb today. It's un-cured, but thats not a bad price for it. It's not lace rock.

Have ya tried Ebay? Some good deals--lots of not so good deals. You have to hunt and hunt for a long time to find a really good deal that 100 people aren't bidding on. But, if you're willing to put in the time--deals can be had for good prices.
