Re: Looking for frags

Find a local reefer or a local club. Thats the cheapest and you get to see what your buying. You can't live so far out in the boonies that there isn't another local reefer within 100 miles of ya. Can ya? Try craigslist. Reefers are ALWAYS advertising on craigslist.

No way I'm paying $50 for a couple polyps or zoas that I can't see and then risk having them shipped.
I picked up a BUNCH of frags from a local reefer the other day for $20.

She cut me off a piece of soft coral about 1.5" long
One frag of a polyp that has 2 heads on it
One frag of zoas with 3 heads
Another frag of zoas with about 8 heads
A Green mushroom--just cut the rock apart and gave me the whole shroom
And another frag of zoas with like 30 or 40 heads on it

$20 !!

Current Aquarium(s) Description: 30g tall reef, HOB CPR refugium, 61lbs LR, 60lbs LS, 144W T5 lighting.
Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: 9 months
Other Intrests: Radio Control airplanes, clubbing seals, strangling baby chickens, skinning kittens...........

You've gotta live close enough to one of those areas to make contact with another reefer and get some frags for cheap.

Good luck.

BTW--I did that search and found all those clubs in like 5 minutes. I'm sure you could find even more with a bit of time.
