Want to get some LR.

Hey guys/gals. I'm looking for some LR, at a good price. I found a couple things on Ebay, and I was wondering...of these two auctions, which would you guys go with?

I see that it states that it's precured, but I've read that I would still want to cure it myself. I have a 35 gallon barrel. Could I use the water out of my 90 gallon tank to cure it? Say if I was doing a water change, and I just pulled the water out of the 90 and put it straight into the barrel, then let the LR soak in there for a couple days with a Power head. Would that be decent enough? Or would I want to make a fresh batch of SW, and soak it in that?

Also, I don't have a spare heater. Would it be cool to leave it out at room temp for those few days while it soaks? Luckly it is summer, and it's an average 75-80 in our apartment.

Re: Want to get some LR.

I would go with the second. The first link has nicer pictures of the rocks but it won't even look close to that. The second link has more realistic pics and expect the fiji rock to look more like the second.Walt Smith is the biggest supplier of fiji rock, they precure and remove unwanted hitchhikers so again, the second link would be my choice.

Room temperature is fine to store the rocks. To keep it ''alive'',you will need to put in a powerhead for circulation.
