refugium

i'm setting up my sump/refugium can i use a stainless steel hose clamp or will the metal hurt the quality of the water?

Current Aquarium(s) Description: 55 Gallon Saltwater, starting up a 150g rr fowlr
Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: 1 Year
Other Intrests: Football, Hunting, Fishing

Your shouldnt use metal if its going to be in contact with the water

Maybe a heavy zip tie would work for you??????? Not really sure.

they make plastic or nylon hose clamps. Might have to go to a plumbing supply house or order off the internet if your local hardware store doesnt have any.

I've used them plastic pull ties until I could get to the store to replace them. I still haven't replaced them.
