M58 ballast
Well, Im not sure were my brother got his hands on 6 m58 ballast and was wondering if anyone has any experiance with this bare model...Im sure they buzz like no others considering they look like the mags we have at work...HHHHHOtTTT..I dont want to burn my house down or anything. LOL

M58 is just a code that says that it is a 250W MH ballast. You should be able to just wire them up. The heat that they generate is substantial though and will need to be ventilated somehow or on large heat sinks and ventilated preferably.

I thought so thanks...I just have never ran across these bare models they didnt look safe so I traded for a 3 electric ballast...Usually I use pc I guess its time to upgrade....Model-advance myfault was in a hurry
