Sump silicone

I picked up some (Loctite) clear household silicone, indoor/outdoor waterproof adhesive/sealant. Is this safe to use for the baffels in my sump?
Thanks for any help!

Re: Sump silicone

I'd only use silicone that says "Aquarium Safe" on it. If you read the fine print, some will say that. Be sure you don't use one that is antifungal or antibacterial.

Re: Sump silicone

as long as it is 100% silicone you are OK. Just be sure that it doesn't have any fungicides or mold inhibitors in it and you are good to go.
