Could I build one based on your plans and use a small power head to feed the line and have the return line on the other side of the tank? Just so the tube is at a slight preassure.

Yep.... I used a Rio 600 had to get a little creative at the hardware store to hook it up to the plumbing, but it can be done.

I was at the new menards by my house yesterday and saw 1/4 inch polyethylene tubing in 100 foot rolls for like 6 bucks!!!!

For those that don't have a Menards.. Lowes and Homedepot also sell it by the foot for 7 cents. Thats where I got my 75 feet from. I know this is a little off topic but I have been wondering this and since it has to do with the denitrator, i figure I'd put it here
