Hyposalinity question

How long is the recommended time for this treatment? Should they stay at the low salinity level until the 4 week quarantine is complete or do you bring the salt back up after a specific time?

Re: Hyposalinity question

I've heard that you need to get it to 1.008 or 1.009 for a minimum of three weeks, then gradually bring it back up to normal. I've never done it myself but the people I know that have tried it have experienced mixed results.

Re: Hyposalinity question

I was reading a link that said bring them down to 1.014-1.016. I understood it to read that the lower amounts was only for the transfer method of treating.??? I cant seem to find the link now I've been reading so many threads. Do you know?
