Water Testing

Can I use my Amonia and Nitrite test kit for fresh on salt as Well

Current Aquarium(s) Description: 100 G. fresh
Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: Havent Started yet
Other Intrests: stock cars & dirtbikes

It will say on the box if you can.

Some test kits will, but they usually ahve seperate color charts for fresh and salt.

Also pay attention to the expiration date and do not use any test kit that is past the expiration date. if the test kit does not say for salt water it is not ok to use. welcome and good luck.
