I was just wondering if I can put dead coral in my fish tank?? And will it do anything?

Most of live rock is dead coral skeletons so it will be fine. Make sure you was it good, also from what I have read is alot of dead coral decerations can trap alot of bad things in your tank over time so you might have to clean it on a monthly basis or so.

The coral skeletons makes pretty good base rock because it looks natural.But you have to make sure that when you get ready to do a water change,that you take something and blow the detritus out of it.

Coral skeletons aren't very porous so it won't act in the same fashion as LR but will make good decorations.
