I went all out!

Well, it got to me...

I like the look of the slim and long 30 gallon tanks rather than the taller 29 gallon tanks. I went out and bought a 30 gallon tank, stand, CPR Bak Pak 2, 2 Maxi Jet 600 powerheads, 32 lbs. live rock, 30 lbs. live sand and created my underwater world! It looks amazing and I have some pictures that I will post in the next few upcoming days... Can't wait to show you guys!

Re: I went all out!

if you are gonna make it a reef thats a mistake because its really hard to find a good light for a 30

Re: I went all out!

The length on the tank is 36" and I have found many, many powerful lights that can turn this into a reef tank. However, at this time I am not looking to do that. I have a 30" 36W T-5 Coralife Aqualight 10K day/actinic (RIGO) + 1W lunar aqualight all on a timer... I am very happy with the way it looks right now

Re: I went all out!

I have a 30 gal reef and they sell tons of 36" fixtures so that wont be a problem at all. BTW if your like me you will love the 30. I love the 3 foot and yet still small for small places. Good luck and send some pics.

Re: I went all out!

Thanks guys! I just tested some parameters today, they are as follows:

PH: 8.2
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 10ppm
Salinity: 1.0225ppm

Are there possibly any softies that I could keep with these lights?
