Its not a Derasa,
I think its a Crocea or Maxima,its hard(at least for me)to tell the difference.

Can you keep a maxima under about 4 and a half watts per gallon Halide? I am upgrading to a bigger tank(15 gal from 8 gal) and I got a clamp on 70 w metal halide. I'm sure I'll have to wait for the tank to become well established right? Six months or more?

Clams dont have to have perfect water.They actually like a few nitrates.
I think that as long as your tank has cycled that the clam will be fine.
