nice addition. got one myself about 4 months ago. i got it when it was 2.5 inch for 25 buckaroos and he is now about 3.5 inch. he'll soon be looking for a new home. good luck with yours.

the abrasion will be gone in a week or so if he is eating well, which it sounds like he is. As for being better-looking than my Sohal...not sure, but he is cute

        Hes still a lil skittish, but eats decent, spits out frozen, eats flake good, gonna try garlic see if he likes it betta... His name is Rebel btw... oh you may notice that he has a big war wound above his eye.... well its been there for months. so if you get him to actually heal up it could be awesome. Guess it depends on how severe it is.
