My brain coral never seem to open and Ideas, I try feeding him seperatly and different types of food. He was in my 220 reef with halide etc lights but I noticed the rabbit fish would sometimes bug him. I just moved him to the 100 gal to see if better reaction but have compact lighting suystem. It sounds like you answered your own question.The Rabbit could been keeping the brain from opening.Putting it in the other tank was a wise decision.Maybe it will do better there.

the brain should be fine under the PC's, just keep an eye on it for a little while and i bet it starts looking better now.
