Re: Hello Everyone

I am so glad to see so many people jump into a thread to help a new person to the site. That is AWESOME!

The price of that RO unit could definately be why its so inexpensive. But isnt there some sort of generic filters that you can use as a (one size fits all) thing? I thought that most of the RO/DI units came in a pretty standard size.

I was wondering why the Kent Maxxima RO/DI units are so expensive compared to to these types of units on ebay. Is the qualilty of the product that much better? or is it just " Name Brand".

I also wanted to know, with these units taking 4 - 5 gallons of tap water to make 1 gallon of clean water, how much have your water bills went up? I wouldnt think it would be that bad if you just turned it off after having the water you need until you need more.

Re: Hello Everyone

Well I got my RO/DI unit. It is a Abundant Flow Water 75 GPD ordered of off ebay. I am glad to say that it had fast delivery (ordered tues night @ 7 pm got it today). Really easy hook-up and it seem to be a great product. I am so glad I will not have to pay for my water now and I know that my water quality is good!
