Re: New to the site.

A sea hare will take care of that algae in no time. Have you tried one yet?

Re: New to the site.

Yea i dont like cleaning crews....call me crazy. I have always had different husbandry methods. I, up until recently have run tap water with water conditioner. and I tend to overfeed. My coral growth is fine and my fish are fat and happy.

If you look at the pics from april to may the algea has started to go away. I had a phosban reactor and took it off line and the algeas came so i cut back on feeding and the algea stopped growing and is starting to go away.

My husbandry skills have always done me ok. I liked my old tanks until i got out of the hobby. Just started back in salt and old habits are hard to break.

Here is some pics of my old tanks for anyone interested

200 fowlr

75 sumpless reef

also because this is my intro i will post a couple pics of me

I am the one in the air.

Re: New to the site.

great looking tanks. I am a fan of the big angelfish. It warms my heart to see them in a tank. People here have such a lack of love for angelfish

Re: New to the site.

I like big angels but unfortunately i wont have any in my tanks for a while. I would like to have a regal eventually but I would have to say bye to most of my corals and i cant do that. Maybe a regal later.
