live rock for fish only
Hi everyone from Istanbul /Turkiye
I ordered my new tank(130x60x65h cm) and sump (80x45x45 cm).I didn't decided yet Marine or discus .My aquarium hobby is about 20 years the last one frontosa.Discus has water changes problems,marine is more expensive .Now I will ask same question. 1.Which PS for aprox 500 liters 2.Is Live rock necessery for fish only tanks.(1 kg is 7 USD in Turkiye) Thanks for helps Current Aquarium(s) Description: 130x60x65h cm. and sump Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: 25 years fresh water Other Intrests: golden retriever |

Welcome to the site.
I'm not sure what your talking about with the first question. But the answer to the second,is NO.Live rock is not required for a fish only tank.But it is recommended.

The size of the PS will depend greatly on your bio load. as a general rule get a PS that is rated for at least 1 1/2 times the tank size or more. hope this helps
