unknown crab

So I figured out this was a Box Crab, does anyone know if it's reef friendly?

Box crabs are not considered reef safe. But I searched online and couldn't find a reason why. When in doubt, take it out!

Looks cool, but like stated above I would remove it. Stick it in the sump if you have one, or give it to your LFS.
