"snowflake" like spots on my glass

Just been noticing a lot of little spots on my glass lately. Most are just white spots, but more and more there are little white (although some are pink) spots with "legs" all around it. Looks like snowflakes. I was wondering if they are a form of hydroid, but I cant find a picture like them, and they are too small for me to get a picture of. Any thoughts?
Thank you

Sounds like hydroids to me.

Check out www.melevsreef.com/id and http://home2.pacific.net.ph/%7Esweet...tchhikers.html

Both have several pictures of hydroids.

Hydroids is what it sounds like to me too.The free living ones are generally harmless and disappear on there own in time.
