All-Glass Heater???

OK so my question is does anybody have any experince with them. Are they good or bad. I brought one today and just wanted to see what everybody thought.

Current Aquarium(s) Description: 60gal cube, 10 gal sump, AquaC HOB skimmer, Reefkeeper 2.
Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: 1 1/2 years off and on
Other Intrests: Sports and fish.

Just make sure the heater stays submerged or it will crack.Some brands are better than others though.

heaters are very strange, especially alot of glass ones lol. Be sure to watch the temp, i would set mine at 75, and it came on.... my temp would be 78. if I set it to 78, my temp spiked over 85. Its now set to as far down as it goes, and I bought another a dif heater. I got 2 visutherms, they were cheap, but 1 in my FW tank, temp never leaves 75. ones in my 55, temp goes from 80.9-79-5 daily.

Thank god I was fishless when I was using the glass heater.

minireefer i have that exact same heater and my temps are not stable :/ so thats why i use it as a back up. i currently have this heater and im very happy with it

I have the same heater. so does my cousin. If he sets his at 78, his temp goes around 86.. i set mine to 78 and it sat around 80, but at night my house gets cold, and the heater couldnt keep up. the temp would be around 75. glad i caught it before i had fish.

Proven, affordable, long track record. I only use Jebo Jeger heaters
