What Do You Guys Think

Im Thinking Of Changing My 20k 400watt Mh Only Have One To 2 250watt 14k Mh Because For One My Tank Is Only 24inch Deep And Because I Cant Get Any Good Color In My Coral As Soon As That Light Goes On It Floods The Tank So What Do You Guys Think The Only Reason I Have Stayed With The One 400 Watt Is Because Lfs Said It Will Work That Was 6 Months Ago I Would Like To See Some Color In My Coral

depends how high your hanging it from the tank. But either way a 400 what is pretty extreme. The local coral guy here has 1 hanging over his sps frag tank. Its at least 2 feet off the surface. and he has amazing color. Given his tank isnt 24 deep tho. Id look into the depths of the 400 watt.

Add a couple 6500K compacts and you will get the color you are looking for.

i have 4 65watt power comp all artic blues

then try changing 2 of them out for some 6500 bulbs. worth a shot.
