You can add some easy corals a couple weeks after your tank is done cycling. Stuff like zoanthids, mushrooms, leathers and xenia.

No,you don't have to wait that long.You can start with zoos and mushrooms as long as the cycle is complete.Maybe in a month then try other soft corals.Then try LPS corals a month later.Wait six months for SPS corals and clams and 8-12 months for anemones at least.

you have had good advice. Try not to mix soft corals, like leathers, with SPS corals. If you are wanting to to SPS, add a mushroom rock and a cool set of Zoas and then hold out for LPS corals. Then wait about 6 months after that to add the SPS you wanted

Keep a close eye on salinty if you add clip-on fans to tank. The fan will increase evaporation.
