Advice on Lighting
Hello, I have a 35 gallon hexagon tank. I have 18 inches across on the top of the tank to mount a light. The tank is 24 inches deep. I want to be able to have some hard and soft corals, along with mushrooms. What do you recommend for lighting? I was recommended halide lights, but i have seen t-5 and a bunch of other kinds of lighting. I have seen that the sunpod is offered in a size that will fit my tank. What can i keep under low lighting, i have 2 24watt bulbs right now. Thanks

Re: Advice on Lighting
hmm, that's going to be challenging to light that tank without a halide. you could go with t-5's, but there may not be much light penetration at the bottom. I don't think the t-5's have much wattage at that size fixture.

Re: Advice on Lighting
With your tank being 18'' across and 24'' deep,T5 may not be your best choice.I would go with a MH pendant.
You may possibly have enough light for mushrooms and zoanthids/palythoas.
