Protein Skimmer for Marineland Eclipse Hood???

Protein Skimmer for Marineland Eclipse Hood???
I've had freshwater tanks my whole life... just (finally) made the switch to marine. So far I am loving it. This forum has been a great source of info/help so far.
I guess I didn't do tons of research before I bought my 29 gallon Marineland Eclipse 3 kit.... but does anybody know what protein skimmer people have used with this hood. I have heard people have had to cut the hood to make a protein skimmer fit. Was just wondering what protein skimmer would work best?? Thanks!
