36" nova pros and tank stands oh my!
just wondering if 36" nova extreme pros would be overkill for a 40 gallon breeder?
also, if buying a stand for the 40g for $150 is more cost effective than diy. im not sure how much it would cost to diy =/ Current Aquarium(s) Description: 28G FOWLR Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: 1 Day

Nope,The Nova Pro won't be overkill.
Sorry,I never built a stand so I have no idea on cost.

Well,you don't have to buy the Pros.Breeders are shallow tanks,the regular 4 bulb Extreme would be okay,I still like the Pros better though.

right, but the standards dont have contoured reflectors do they? with pros, corals will grow faster?

Corals that need lots of light will grow better under the Pros.If SPS,clams and anemones interest you then get the Pro's.
