filter question...

i'm thinking of getting a fluval fx5 fiiter for my 75 gal. anyone use this filter? just wondering how it is...

That'll keep your water sparkling clear.But you'll have to give it a good cleaning on a regular basis.

The Fluval canisters are good filters but that would not be my first choice for filtration in a reef system.The most I would only use it to run phosphate and carbon media on a part time basis.

Do you have a good protein skimmer? If not, definitely get a protein skimmer instead.

my skimmer is ok pak bak...but i also have 110 lbs of live rock and just re-did the substrate with 60 lbs live sand...one of my emperor 400's died after 14 yrs..so looking for replacement .

Hey Zee can you put up some shots of your Discus tank in the Off-Topic forum, I still love my freshwater stuff and Discus are some of my favorites.
