Sump

Should green algae be growing on the sides of the furge? Also should I suction out the red algae that's in there?

I leave all the algae in my fuge, even the nuisance algae. Really, I don't care if it grows in my fuge as long as the algae in the fuge is taking away nutrients from any algae wanting to grow in the tank.

I pretty much leave the bad algae in the fuge too.More laziness than anything else.Weird that it stays in the fuge and has never spread into the display.
