quick ???..

i have a bak pak skimmer, rated at 60 gallons on a 75 gallon reef..i was just wondering if i got a bigger power head could i improve the performance of the skimmer?

I think you need a bigger skimmer and a better one, but just my 2 cents, you usually want one that is rated for more than what you have

The best way to go is to get a skimmer rated for twice your tank volume. Skimmer ratings are consistently inflated. If you have a 75 gallon tank, I'd go with something for a 150 gallon tank. It really does make a difference, and using a different powerhead will not change the performance of your skimmer significantly.

Do Not Alter The Bak Pak. Contact Cpr For Your Questions On Modifications Of The Cpr Products.
