sump and skimmer
So I am planning on building a 20g sump. I currently have a AquaC Remora Pro HOB skimmer that I use in my main display. I was wondering if I could use that on my sump, and just put a longer hose on it so the power head reaches the water. In my mind I do not see why it wouldn't work because the AquaC Urchin(insump) looks pretty much the same.

I don't see why that would not work for you. Do you have the Mag Drive 3 powerhead on it now?

No I don't. But if I were to keep the remora and just extend the hose, I would mut the Mag Drive 3 on it.

I've run mine on my sump before. Actually, in the sump, I hung it on the inside. It worked fine.
