Sump Conversion and Repair

I am about to add some baffles to a converted wet/dry that is running the tank right now. How long can I keep the sump off so that the silicone can dry? I have two Tunze Turbelle pumps in the tank so there will still be movement, just no filtration. Also, due to it being a conversion, the filter starts with an "under" because that's where the bio balls used to be and where that sponge block was. With that being said, my next baffle is an over. Should I try to put two more, one under and one over so that I finish with an over before going to the return pump? Seems usually there are only three baffles but they start with an over and end with an over. I can't do that.
Thanks,
David

your plan will be fine i would finish with an over as it will keep the chamber seperate from the main part

My silicone says to wait 72 hours before adding water.Maybe do just an over,if you get microbubbles than buy sponge padding and cut to fit between the two baffles.
