Question about in-sump skimmers

How much space do you need in your sump's skimmer section above and beyond the space that the actual skimmer takes up? I'm looking at the Aqua C EV-120 skimmer and it will be a pretty tight fit to put that and a pump in my sump's skimmer section.

Re: Question about in-sump skimmers

You basically just need enough room for the skimmer and its pump.As long as you can keep the pump submerged, then thats all you need.
