q on lighting
I'm looking into some different lighting options and i want to go metal halides. heard this was the best for corals and thats eventually the goal. saw something that caught my attention from champion lighting and was wondering what thoughts were about this. its a light fixture called
sunpod 2X150W 14K HQI. what's your thougths on this and what exactly it is. Current Aquarium(s) Description: 55 gal saltwater, 305 fluval filter, looking for lighting, 10 gal saltwater (quarentine) Experience in Saltwater & Reef Aquarium Hobby: newbie Other Intrests: saltwater, wakeboarding |

HQI is a type of ballast that is commonly used with Double Ended Metal Halide Bulbs.

well does anyone think that this is a good lighting fixture? does it seem like it would do the job?
