Remora Skimmer

Hi All,
I am very new to Saltwater tanks. I just purchased a Remora skimmer that came with a MaxiJet 1200 submersible pump and power head. I really am having a tough time figuring out how to get them together. Do I need to buy a hose long enough to go from the pump to the top of the skimmer. I cant seem to find any where else to attach them. Does the maxi jet hang seperate from the skimmer or somehow go inside of it. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but the directions are not very helpful.

Re: Remora Skimmer

should of came with a hose to connect the powerhead to skimmer, i have remora pro with rio pump and it connects through small hose with hose clamps. If you bought it new and didn't get it send email to company they have good customer support.

Re: Remora Skimmer

Yeah you shouldn't have to buy any extra parts, the powerhead goes inside the tank, connects to the skimmer with the hose, which hangs outside the tank.
