super skimmer question
A week ago I installed the corallife super skimmer 125 for my 90 gallon reef tank. The manual states in takes 48-72 hours to break in. It's been a week and no waste is visible in the collection cup. I have the dial set so the microbubbles are in the med level of the cone in the collection cup. Is there something wrong with this skimmer? Does it take longer than 72 hours to break in? Is there anything I can do to speed up the break in? How long did it take you to break in you super skimmer?

Re: super skimmer question
I have a coral life 125 and it took about three or four days. The pump should be just touching the collection basket.Make sure to have a hose on the vent and hang back into tank. If water comes out vent it makes a real mess. The height of pump and hose back into basket is very important.I played with mine for awhile.
