An upgrade to my 55g's sump!

Do you guys remember this sump?

Well, it has been replaced with this one. It only took me 8 months to make a
stronger one with 1/4" material for myself.

That is very cool. Another work of art It's too bad you don't live in So.
Cal., at least for me anyway . Is the drain pipe drilled straight down or
does it come off a side? Is it really quiet?

I like it. You have a nice log of your full experiencing going on your site.
I may have to do something like that too. I'm in the process of setting up a
reef in a 72 gallon bow front aquarium with my dad, and eventually I'll
convert my 110.

The drain pipe for the refugium goes right through the floor, through a bulkhead
fitting. It's working just like I'd planned it.

The previous one was through the side wall, but I wanted to try something
different.
