Problems in keeping tropical fish

Advocates for Animals are launching a campaign called GLASS PRISONS,
EMPTY LIVES about the problems of keeping tropical fish. You can see
it at the following link:

http://www.advocatesforanimals.org/g...assprisons.htm

Also, few days ago they launched one about exotic pets:

http://www.advocatesforanimals.org/exotics

They have both being launched in anticipation of the possible buying
frenzy this Christmass of exotic pets/fish as a consequence of the
popularity of 'Finding Nemo' and the 'Teenager Ninja Turtles' films.

Re: Problems in keeping tropical fish

And why did you think this article was appropriate to post in this forum? It is
encouraging the end of this hobby.... Or maybe that was your intent.

I looked over the webpage briefly, and do see it from their perspective, but I
also disagree on many levels. Much good can come from the knowledge gained in
this hobby, and true lovers of the reef also endeavor to give back to the ocean
when they can. But maybe you know this already?

Anyone who is still taking clues from Ninja Turtles has gotta be out of
