I'll help as well, that's just awful. I thought the US legas system would
have had no problem with that sort of thing. I've watched the animal rescue
programmes about the SPCA and they seem to be pretty good at rescuing
animals, this bloke must have some money to be able to fend them off.

I think a lot of people don't care about reptiles. Now if there were
starving and diseased puppies in there, you bet that there would be more
being done about them. I think that's sick and sad, but I also think that's
how people are.

There's a lot of people like that over here as well. I find when i say I
have snakes and a beardie poeple say ' eww, couldn't you get a nice puppy?'
I think my Beardie is just as nice as a puppy!!

There are several advantages reptiles have over dogs.

1) You can keep a reptile in a small apartment, letting it out of it's tank
to get exercise on the carpet (as long all the holes large enough for it to
squeeze through are blocked off). Dogs can't be kept in a small flat without
regular exercise or they'll get stressed and develop behavioural problems
such as destroying furniture.

2) A beardie can do it's business in its tank and produces a much smaller
mess than most dogs and reptile poo isn't as icky looking as dog poo and is
a lot easier to clean up.

3) Reptiles don't howl for hours on end when you leave to go to work and
annoy the neighbours resulting in you featuring in "Neighbours from Hell" on
TV.

4) Reptiles don't have dog breath

5) If you're renting accommodation your landlord may not allow dogs or cats.
